The ST1100 cells are adapted from a design by Ron Major. Ron was a frequent competitor and normally placed well in motorcycle endurance events. He was taken early from us in 1997.
Jim Robertson then developed it further adding a filler which significantly reduces fueling time, a vent line and simplifying the installation

Ron Smith "EZ Tank" for the Gold Wing 1500
When your spouse rides you need to stop more often. Not wanting to give up saddlebag space by mounting a permanent cell Ron came up with an "easy" on & off auxiliary cell, thus ; "EZ Tank". The cell only takes a few minutes to mount securely (once the plumbing is in). The cover can be configured with a back pad and/or pouches to hold maps, etc.
Cells are made from 6061 T6 aluminum. Aircraft quality welded. Cells are available in black satin powder coat color or other colors - special order.
Your TOTAL capacity will be just under 11.5 gallons (Iron Butt Association™ limit). Want more capacity? We will custom build for a cell for you.
This cell holds approximately 3.25 gallons. It is designed to be secured by heavy nylon straps (included). We can also make it with tabs if you want to bolt it down instead of using straps. It has the new style fuel cap.
Custom fuel cell for a Harley Road king. This mounts on the existing tail rack. We added a rack onto the top. We don't offer a stock cell simply as each one seems to be a little different based on what you want. Simply let us know what you want and we'll quote it for you.
